Linda Designs 4 U

Okay, so I was playing around on YouTube just now, trying to keep my daughter from being fussy, and I ran into a Donald Trump video. Watched it, won't state what I thought of it, but I went to his channel, and found a video his daughter Ivanka had done. I clicked on it, watched it, and was extremely impressed.

For a second, just forget everything you think and feel about Donald Trump, and just focus on Ivanka. I don't know much about her, but now I think I will do a little reading about her and maybe just follow some of the things she does.

Anyways, in the video she talks to a 16 year old Linda Cifuentes, who is a cancer survivor and is in remission, for the Make a Wish Foundation (an AMAZING program for children, I just love what they do). While Linda was in the hospital for her cancer, her mom gave her beads and such to employ her time with, and she began to design jewelry. She asks Ivanka for advice and questions (of which they don't really show), and Ivanka helps her out with what she has so far.

So watch the video, it's amazing, and then head on over to Linda's website.

Hi all!

I know I haven't posted anything in a week (sorry )-:  ) but I'm back!

The past week has felt a little..... crazy. I did a three day diet (I lost six pounds!) And four days off of it (I gained seven pounds....) and today is day one again of the three day portion (I swear I'll do better on my four days off this time). And my daughter has decided to start acting like a two year old (she's only 17 months old). She is starting to talk back and won't listen to me. I'm surprised I have any hair left.

Anyways. I just wanted to pop back in, and this time I promise I won't stay away as long.

If you like my posts, share them, subscribe to my page, leave comments, anything. And don't forget my Facebook page. I left a link down there

Doll Parts

Here's another horror short story.

I'm not going to lie, this one is pretty freaky.

Doll Parts by Kyle Robertt is about this foul mouthed beauty pageant who finds herself tied to a chair in a strange room. Three masked women soon enter the room, and Rosie soon finds herself in a situation most people have nightmares over. Will she escape? Or will she become what they need her to be?

Just as with the previous short story, check out my shop, look under kindle books, and click on the link to purchase the story.

Have a good read!

Bedtime Tales of Horror: Fortunes End

I have finally found a horror short story to read!

Bedtime Tales of Horror: Fortunes End by Bradley Poage is a short, short story about a young man and woman who go see a fortune teller at the carnival.... and recieve a very shocking prediction. Ignoring the old woman, Jeremy and Kelly must face the fears the woman saw in their palms, and try to survive.

Click on over to my shop (The End of the Quest's Shop), select the kindle books option, and click on the book to be directed to the Amazon site where you can download it to the Kindle. Trust me, this is a good little read.

Bradley Poage also has many other short stories for sale. Just scroll down the page from the link, and click on his highlighted name and you will not only see a biography of the author, but a list of his stories that are for sale on Amazon.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

On the Hunt....

I am currently looking for a horror/thriller short story or book to read. I don't want to read anything "mainstream" like Stephen King or Dean Koontz, both amazing writers. I want to read something new. Something to introduce my audience to. So I'm on a hunt.

I haven't found anything yet, but I am looking. If you know of a horror/thriller book that is amazing, but very few people know of, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

Other than that, have a good day everybody!!

Inspirational

http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/about-nick/
I have seen this man speak before, but that was before I had a blog! His name is Nick Vujicic. He is an inspirational speaker. But the thing is, he was born with no arms and no legs. He is simply amazing. I'm going to include the link to a video of his that I bawled through on YouTube. Warning, it is 45 min. long, so only watch it if you have the time, because you won't want to stop it.

His actual website is http://www.attitudeisaltitude.com/ but it wasn't working for me :( Hopefully it'll work for you.
